So here is my new garden! Yesterday we spend the whole morning building and planting with the help of Gary the Handyman. Then we celebrated by spending the afternoon at the beach.
This was my BIG splurge - a turning composter!!!! How excited I get about crazy stuff like a compost turner. What is it about decomposing plant matter that has me peaking in to see if anything has happened yet and turning it for the 50th time in one day?

Love your garden! And I totally understand about the composter... I like the thought that all of the stuff I would normally just toss out, will go to make my garden and yard a more beautiful place... it feels restorative to me....
I can't wait until we get out to california and can set up our worm composter!
