Cougar found a 4 leaf clover in the backyard. When I was his age I remember finding one too after much searching. It means that we are very super lucky people; it's our heritage.

I'm totally NOT springing forward

I think it is ridiculous to ever change the time. Let's keep daylight savings time year round, I say! Who cares about children standing at a dark bus stop. A little dark in the morning never hurt anyone.

Let me tell you what WILL hurt someone at a bus stop. A BULL. A charging bull could hurt someone at a bus stop, not the dark. In the 5th grade I was charged by an angry escaped bull at my bus stop. I got away by running into a neighbor's home. Boy were they surprised to see me and 7 others run into their house that morning.

Anyway, if I weren't lazy and I cared enough, I would draft a bill or petition or something to get daylight savings time adopted all year round.

Well, its 1:15, I better go make lunch.

Pinkalicious

Juliet's obsession with pink started about a year ago. I know girls like pink, but this is like nothing I've ever seen before. If it's pink, it's hers. If it's mine and pink, it's hers. If it someone else's and it's pink, it's hers!

She has refused to wear any clothing that is NOT pink for a full calendar year.
When I try to put anything not pink on her, she screams bloody murder and tries to rip the clothes off like the Incredible Hulk (only a pink hulk).

Her birthday was Tuesday and I asked her what kind of cupcakes she wanted, she said "pinkalicious." So, pinkalicious it is.

Sick Kid and No Milk

It's always seems like they choose the one day you were going to get everything done to get sick. I had a full day planned including lunch with a friend, getting Juliet's birthday party supplies (her birthday is tomorrow), and going to the grocery store because we are out of EVERYTHING. But NO, Cougar has to wake up with a fever, runny nose and headache. Uggg, now we will all get sick and everything I had planned for the day is off like a prom dress.
